Good Place for Music I have been to Temple Bar a number of times, but this was my first stop at the Quay. Stopped here for a couple pints on a Sunday evening to listen to some live music. Other bars in the area that we had stopped at were too loud, too crowded, and weren't playing live music until later in the evening. The bartenders were very efficient as was the waitstaff. The prices weren't bad for the Temple Bar area. The music was enjoyable and there was a fair amount of turnover among the patrons so we were able to work ourselves into great seats within about 30 minutes. It looks like they have live music all throughout the day every day. I will stop here again More
Guinness and Beef Stew - Amazing We wandered into Temple bar area late looking for some traditional Irish food and happened upon this restaurant which is upstairs from the bar of the same name. Our food, Guinness and Beef Stew, was beautifully plated and delicious. We found our back to the restaurant and bar more than once on our trip.
Lots of Tourist Please do not let the title fool you. Everything from the host to the service, to the food was very very good. My family and I, American tourist, could not help but notice how many other American's were also dining. The food is traditionally Irish but those around you may not be, if you are looking for authenticity
