This bar is centrally located within the Temple Bar area of the city Public House. Live traditional music, fantastic atmosphere and great service. We selected this pub to visit on a whim, initially attracted to it because of the music we could hear. On entering we felt an atmosphere of enjoyment and excitement being generated from the customers as they joined in with thw the band.
Choosing a Pub in Temple Bar So many bars in Temple Bar area. How to choose? Mainly it was a matter of avoiding the ones that were too full to be able to get through the door, or pumping out music so loud we couldn't speak or which had large groups of stag do’s and Top-Deck tourists in bad Irish hats or Viking horns. We didn't exactly choose Quays Bar. Instead we just randomly peered through the doors of a few pubs and and when we saw that this one had two great Irish folk singers, a lively atmosphere, space at the bar and was nicely full without being crammed in like sardines, we stayed. Perfect! More
