The Quays Bar is situated in the heart of Dublin’s famous Temple Bar. It has a great mixture of both locals and tourists, making it one of Dublin’s liveliest pubs.
Daily live Irish traditional music makes the pub a magnet for those in search of a bit of craic. Stories told from near and far makes every day a new experience in The Quays. Enjoy a full Irish Restaurant on the first floor, complete with a superb all-around menu. In the mood for a traditional Irish Stew and Dublin Coddle, anyone?
Come for the craic and stay for the warm friendly atmosphere. Not to mention some of the best pints of Guinness in Dublin. The Quays also sports a wide variety of cocktails, Irish Coffees, and whiskey selection.
delicious Went for lunch and it was packed. We were lucky to get a table at all. Service took a long time but again, it was packed. We enjoyed the live entertainment, which was 2 old guys having a ball playing old irish tunes and when our food finally came it was delicious. We ordered the seafood chowder - amazing. So rich I couldn't finish it. Decently priced considering it's in Temple Bar. Really fun afternoon.
Fun Place to Start We started our Irish Holiday at Quays and weren’t disappointed. Thursday night at 5 pm and the bar was packed. Mostly filled with tourists, a few young lads joined us from the financial district to have a pint or two after work. While a bit touristy, the music was good and bartenders very attentive. We’d highly recommend Quays over many of the other establishments in Temple Bar.
Great atmosphere Called in for a few drinks late afternoon and the live music was fab and gave the place a great atmosphere. Bar staff very friendly and chatty and the couple of hours just whizzed by. This is definitely the sort of pub I was looking for when I came to Dublin.
